Mark Sean Haynes and Kelly Wydryk are New York based filmmakers.
Growing up in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington, Mark Sean began his artistic endeavors as a musician, singing for the Seattle based punk band The Scoundrels. After dropping out of both high school and college, he began his journey towards film. He is the writer and director of the short films The Nude, Don’t Act Dumb, Room 605, as well as the feature length documentary Sorry Mom, Sorry Dad. In 2012, Mark Sean transitioned to New York City to attend Columbia University’s graduate film program as a directing concentrate.
Kelly Wydryk is originally from Toronto, Canada and is finishing her MFA in Screenwriting at Columbia University. Prior to Columbia, Kelly earned her bachelors degree in Media Information and Technoculture from Western University in London, Ontario. She has produced 7 short films during her time at Columbia.
Kelly began collaborating with Mark Sean in 2012. Their most recent project, Black and Blue, For You received the Panavision New Filmmakers Award and Jury Honors from Columbia.
